Regulations on child seats in taxis (SRI)
- General rule: children under 135 cm must travel in a child restraint system (CRS) appropriate for their size and weight (and its use is usually recommended up to 150 cm).
- Urban journeys: in some circumstances, taxis may be exempt in the city, provided that the child travels in the back seat. Even so, for safety reasons, we recommend using a child seat whenever possible.
- Intercity journeys: when the journey includes intercity roads (highway/freeway/motorway), it is prudent to have an appropriate RSI.

Quick guide (by height) + approximate equivalence by groups (0–3):
- 40–75 cm (approx. 0–12/15 months): rear-facing infant carrier — Group 0 / 0+
- 61–105 cm (approx. 6 months–4 years): car seat with harness (best to use rear-facing for as long as possible) — Group 1
- 100–150 cm (approx. 4–12 years): booster seat with backrest for better protection and seat belt adjustment — Group 2–3
- Group 2: normally booster seat (ideally with backrest)
- Group 3: booster seat (preferably with backrest if possible) until the seat belt fits correctly
